Stanford strikes again in Southeast

In the state of Louisiana there are always a few players that fly in under the radar screen and end up with big-time scholarship offers. One of those players is Brandon Harrison of Baton Rouge (La.) Catholic.
Harrison, a 6-foot-2, 200-pound safety, committed to Stanford earlier this weekend after learning that he had been officially accepted at Stanford and offered a scholarship.

“I got word on Friday,” Harrison said. “I’m so excited to be living out my dream. I wanted to go to school that was academics first and I’m getting that at Stanford.”
Harrison is the second of Stanford's 16 commitments so far this year to come from Louisiana. Harrison had 38 solo tackles, four interceptions and three sacks in eight games this season.
