Another one of the top signal-callers from northern California has decided on his college of choice. T.C. Ostrander (6-3, 205, 4.6) from Menlo (Calif.) Menlo-Atherton has committed to Stanford.
Ostrander is one of the feel good stories of the year. Not many recruitniks knew about the talented signal-caller, but the D-I schools did.
Oregon State was first out of the box with an offer and there was a steady flow of offers since. Stanford, Oregon, ASU, Colorado and Kansas soon followed suit with Stanford winning this intense recruiting battle.
Ostrander was selected all-league after throwing for 1,305 yards and 12 touchdowns.
Stanford gets great athlete who is dual threat. Ostrander can hurt you with his arm and his feet.
The Cardinal gets a player who has a strong arm and terrific footwork. His mechanics are superb, which is to be expected. Ostrander has been working with quarterback coach supreme Roger Theder and like most that work with Theder, Ostrander is very polished.
Ostrander had a busy summer camping and refining his skills at camps at Stanford, USC, Cal, UVA, Colorado and the very prestigious Elite 11 camp.
Great get for Buddy Teevens and the entire Stanford staff…
