Stanford offers Fla. CB
Things are going very well for Cape Coral, Fla. standout Spencer Boyd. Boyd, one of the top cornerback prospects from Florida, just picked up a scholarship offer from Stanford.
"Stanford just offered me," Boyd stated in a text message. "I love the California weather and I hear the academics there are great. I haven't spoken with the coaches directly yet but I am looking forward to doing so."
Boyd, 5-10 and 165 pounds, recorded 30 tackles and one interception last season. He also rushed for 602 yards and six scores on 102 carries. Boyd now has six offers - Stanford, Duke, Wake Forest, and Notre Dame, Central Florida.
