Stanford lands Sleeper

The Stanford Cardinal has their hands tied when it comes to the recruiting game. The Cardinal staff not only has to find players that can pass their high admission standards but find football players who can compete and succeed on the Pac10 level.
The Cardinal has been able to land a sleeper prospect in offensive lineman/defensive lineman David Jackson (6-5, 245, 4.9) from Norcross (Ga.) Wesleyan School who has a high ceiling. Meaning he can be coached up to be a very good player.

The Cardinal thrives on players like Jackson. He is another one of those players who have the frame to gain weight without losing a step of speed.
Jackson could bulk up add another 40 pounds and that adds to his versatility. He could end up as an offensive lineman for the Cardinal even he is being brought in as a defensive player.
Jackson reminds many of Stanford freshman offensive lineman Matt McClernan.
McClernan is expected to play a lot of football next season as a red shirt freshman.
Jackson looks to be another player who will thrive at Stanford.
