Standout LB to trip Oregon State

Linebacker Wallace Bates (6-1, 205, 4.57) from Woodland Hills (Calif.) Taft has picked up another Pac10 offer and set another visit and has changed a visit date.
Oregon State has also offered Bates a scholarship and he has set up a visit with the Beavers for January 16th.

Bates already had a visit set to ASU on that date but he has been able to shuffle his visits dates around.
Bates will visit Washington on January 9th and now he has changed his visit to Arizona State from January 16th to January 23rd.
Bates has already taken one trip to Washington State with Taft teammate and Cougar commit running back Ian Bell (5-10, 190, 4.49).
The Washington State, Washington, Oregon State and Arizona State have offers on the table for Bates.
Hawaii has also shown interest in tripping Bates but there is nothing set yet.
Bates was a man amongst boys this past season racking up 131 tackles, three sacks and two interceptions in 2003.
Anyone who saw Bates play this past season came away impressed. He has great explosiveness and closing speed. Bates is a lethal hitter and one hit that he made against Birmingham made the highlight reel.
Oregon State has the inside track for his services with the others following close behind.
