Standout DB Eric Wright has great visit

Eric Wright (5-11, 185, 4.4) the fine defensive back from San Francisco (Calif.) Riordan took an official visit to Washington State this past weekend and came away very impressed with what he saw. It is fair to say the Cougar program has moved to near the top of the list of Wright’s favorite schools.
“I did not commit,” Wright said. “But I had a great trip.”

“I witnessed a great game (WSU/UO),” Wright said. “It was really exciting. I talked to Mike Price and he said that everyone who ends up coming here are friends for life.”
“Washington State has great facilities,” Wright said. “Pullman is a nice little city and I had a good time.”
Redshirt frosh defensive back Alex Teems from San Pedro, Calif., was Wright’s recruiting host.
Cal is still the leader, but Washington State is now his number two school, following in order by Washington, Oregon and USC.
“I will take all my visits before I will decide on what college I will attend.”
It is possible that Wright may cancel his visit to Illinois. “It is more and more looking like I might cancel Illinois,” Wright said. “I don’t want to cancel my Washington or Oregon visits.”
Riordan currently stands at 3-5 his senior season; following a 7-2 junior year, this one has been a bit of disappointment. “I know how it is when winning or losing,” Wright said.
