St. Hilaire waiting for more offers

Three-star athlete Elijah St. Hilaire is up to five scholarships. The 5-foot-10, 176-pounder updated the latest with his recruitment as the season kicks off on Friday.
"Right now I have offers from Colorado State, Akron, Towson, Bryant and St. Francis (Pa.)," he said. "A lot of schools are talking to me, Rutgers said they filled the wide receiver position, but they're looking at some defensive back film. Pittsburgh is talking to me and Wisconsin, they all want the first two game films."

Though St. Hilaire plans to take visits, he has yet to set one up.
"I'm probably lining up some soon," he said. "I was supposed to get out to that opening Rutgers game, but wasn't able to make it since I had practice last week. I'm going to take a visit out there soon."
Does St. Hilaire like anybody?
"Right now I took a visit out to Akron and really like them," he said. "I like the school, the facilities and the coaches are great."
With more visits coming, the No. 30 overall prospect in New Jersey broke down what he wants in a college.
"I really want great academics, that's obviously No. 1 for me to be a student athlete," he said. "I want a family thing and then obviously I'm looking to play early. I may have to redshirt, but I want to find a place where I fit in. I want a great place to play my four years, where I eat and breath football. I personally would love to play wide receiver and kick returner."
St. Hilaire is seeing a big improvement in his game as he heads into the season opener this week.
"Oh yes, I've been through the offseason and I'm the starting running back since our running back is out," he said. "I'm going through the hole and using my speed this year. I am trusting my speed more and able to get outside. I'm playing all over though, last game I had touchdowns as a quarterback, running back and wide receiver."
