St. Brown taking weekend trip

Equanimeous St. Brown has a big visit this weekend to Stanford as the four-star wide receiver will have an in-depth look at one of his favorite programs up close and personal.
The Anaheim (Calif.) Servite standout said last weekend at the Passing Down Elite 7on7 SoCal Regional that he's really looking forward to the trip especially because he's thought so highly of the Cardinal even before they offered.

"It's a junior day so I'm going up there to see the campus, meet the staff, maybe talk to some of the players and see what it's like up there and see what they're doing," St. Brown said.
"I'm expecting something different because it's Stanford. They recruit a different type of player because you have to be really smart so I'm expecting a different type of teaching and coaching."
It is not the only upcoming visit planned for St. Brown, a 6-foot-5, 193-pound four-star prospect who's rated as the No. 18 wide receiver in the 2015 class.
Returning to the Midwest in the coming months, St. Brown said he plans to see Notre Dame, Northwestern and Illinois when he attends the Sound Mind, Sound Body Camp like he did before his junior season.
Getting to South Bend is definitely of serious interest to the Anaheim Servite recruit.
"They have an event and they want me to come out for that," St. Brown said. "They want me to come out so I'm really excited about that."
St. Brown recently had a list of favorites that also included USC - along with Stanford and Notre Dame - but the four-star said he remains open to all possibilities. It's too early for him so keeping an open mind is important to him.
"I'm considering all my offers, all my options," St. Brown said. "I'm just going to visit all these schools and make my decision after."
