Spurlock schedules first official visit
Richmond (Va.) Henrico wide receiver Brandon Spurlock has scheduled his first official visit. Where does the 5-foot-10, 185-pounder plan on going on a trip this weekend for his first official?
"I'm thinking about taking an official visit to Virginia on December 8th," he said. "I really like the location at Virginia. I've been there a lot of times and I think that's the place for me.

"They haven't offered yet, but I've talked to the coaches and they are waiting on a lineman. As soon as he makes a decision, they'll make one about me. If they offer I'd actually commit right away."
If the Cavaliers don't offer Spurlock, he plans to take some more official visits in the next month.
"I'm looking at taking a visit to William & Mary in December and then Connecticut in January only if UVA doesn't offer," he said. "I do really like Vanderbilt and have been impressed by them."
Henrico had a tough season finishing 3-7, but the Commonwealth prospect had a solid season.
"I ended up with 19 receptions for 500 yards and seven touchdowns," he said. "I also had 40 tackles and three interceptions on defense. I was pretty happy with my performance and I can say I was a much bigger playmaker this year."
