Spring RB wants title

Spring (Texas) Westfield running back Beau Carr knows what he wants. He wants a state championship; something that so long ago seemed far-fetched but now seems realistic.
“Since our freshmen year, we all talked about it,” Carr said of a potential state championship. “Now it’s our goal to take it all the way to the bank.”

Their goal is not as out there as it may seem. Westfield is 7-1 this season, including a 41-14 defeat of state-ranked The Woodlands on Saturday night.
Carr, who is 5-foot-11, 195 pounds, rushed for 169 yards in the game.
Carr says he is favoring three schools.
“I’m looking mainly at Nebraska, Arizona and Colorado. The only visit I have set up is to Arizona on Jan. 11.”
Of the three schools that he is considering, Arizona has offered a scholarship.
