Spring brings coaches to Campbell

Ponchatoula (La.) three-star athlete Christian Campbell currently holds offers from Georgia Tech, Louisiana-Lafayette, Southern Miss, and Louisiana Tech with the likes of Alabama and LSU continuing to show significant interest. Recruiting is going well.
"Recruiting is going alright," Campbell said. "It was real fast, but now its kind of slowed down a little bit. But I still hear from all the coaches."

Georgia Tech is showing the most interes, is recruiting him at quarterback, and is his top school out of all of his offers
"Right now out of the offers I have Georgia Tech is leading," Campbell said. "I like coach Brian Cook. They're real nice and they run what I run right now so that's a plus. So that's what I want to do."
The 6-foot-1, 190-pound standout is not in a hurry to make a decision and does not have a definitive timetable at this point in the process. He plans to see who offers before deciding, and the likes of Alabama, LSU, Mississippi State, and Nebraska have been through recently to let him know of their interest.
In June, Campbell plans to visit Georgia Tech and he is looking forward to the opportunity to check out the Yellow Jacket program.
"I'm going in the end of June," Campbell said. "I guess, I'm anxious to see how things work over there."
He also has a couple of camps on his summer schedule.
"I'm going to Alabama for camp and then I'm going to both of the LSU camps," Campbell said."That's all I have planned for right now."
Campbell has been offered at quarterback, wide receiver, and safety, and he is open to all possibilities. In the end he just wants an opportunity to play.
"I mean I like it," Campbell said. "I like playing quarterback, but when I play with my 7-on-7 team, the Bootleggers, I like playing safety and receiver too. So it's alright with me."
