Spiller takes in UF-FSU game

Rivals100 running back C.J. Spiller took an unofficial visit to Gainesville last weekend for the Gators big 34-7 victory over Florida State. The 5-foot-9, 185-pounder out of Lake Butler (Fla.) Union County is looking at both schools. How did the game affect his decision?
"It was a great game between two good teams and especially two great defenses," he said. "I felt pretty neutral about the whole thing and the outcome didn't really affect me at all. I like the way each of them played their games and the running backs played well as they both got a couple good runs off. I have to say the atmosphere was a lot louder than it was at Tennessee and it was like that the whole game. Florida really has some great fans, but I have to say I pretty much went there just to watch the game."

After the game, the four-star prospect talked to the coaches a bit about his experience.
Spiller took his first official last weekend to Southern Cal, but has not scheduled his other four yet.
"I'm still looking at the same schools for officials which includes Alabama, Florida, Florida State and Miami," he said. "I should be getting all of those scheduled in the next couple weeks."
Meanwhile, the basketball season has just started for Union County.
"We're just practicing and its fun to get back into the groove of things," he said. "We'll see how the season goes as it moves on."
