Spencer set for camps

Mason, Ohio offensive guard Joseph Spencer already has an impressive offer list and he's hoping to add a few schools to it, beginning with Virginia Tech.
The 6-foot-4, 270-pound lineman from the Buckeye State plans on camping with the Hokies this weekend. Virginia Tech hasn't offered yet but they have indicated that they're very interested.

"This will be a camp down at Virginia Tech and it will also be kind of an unofficial (visit)," he explained. "I'm going to go around and meet with the coaching staff and go around the campus."
The following weekend Spencer will visit Northwestern and in the weeks after that he will be at Illinois and Ohio State. Spencer wants to try to visit Cincinnati before the summer is up.
He has already been to Northwestern three times and he's also very familiar with Ohio State, so he's probably just going to be focusing exclusively on the camps at those schools.
"I'd say they're all thinking about offering except Ohio State," he said. "They're on more of a national recruiting board so it kind of depends on what happens with the guys that they've offered."
Are any schools sticking out?
"Right now I'm pretty even with everything," he said. "This summer will be good for me in just getting out and checking schools out."
