Spencer planning BCS visits

Despite playing on a star-studded Shaker Heights (Ohio) team last fall, junior wide receiver Odell Spencer was able to stand out as an offensive weapon teams had to account for. Now with three offers to his credit, Spencer is looking to ramp his recruitment up this spring.
"I am probably going to start visiting," Spencer said. "I want to go out to Indiana, probably Michigan State and probably West Virginia too."

West Virginia is a school that has been recruiting the 6-foot, 173-pound Spencer for several months. Indiana and Michigan State have increased their interest in the three-star prospect over the last several weeks.
"I have been hearing a lot from Indiana," Spencer said. "I've gotten some handwritten letters and they want me to call them."
"[Michigan State] is very interested in me and wanted me to come down there," Spencer said. "I have been talking to them a lot and they said they are very close to offering. The wide receivers coach is pretty cool over there."
Spencer does hold offers from Akron, Buffalo and Old Dominion. He finished his junior season with 37 receptions for around 500 yards and six touchdowns.
