Spencer Makes Big Ten Commitment
"I committed to Purdue," three star defensive end Anthony Spencer
"I just liked them best. Michigan State was my second choice. But I won't visit anywhere besides Purdue."

Spencer, 6-foot-4 and 240 pounds, made 68 tackles including 10 sacks as Ft. Wayne (Ind.) Bishop Luers went 14-0 and won a state championship.
Besides the Boilermakers and Spartans he had also drawn quite a bit of interest from Ohio State, Tennessee, and Michigan.
