Speedy WR Now Open
There are newcomers in the race for speedy wide receiver Troy Williamson.
“I got offered by Tennessee a few weeks back which surprised me a little,” said the 6-foot-2, 200-pounder from Jackson (S.C.) Silver Bluff. “That’s big-time.”

Williamson also has offers from in-state powers Clemson and South Carolina and is also considering Georgia and Georgia Tech.
“Some of the Florida schools are also recruiting me hard,” he said. “It’s getting more difficult to figure out who I like best every day.”
Williamson had named South Carolina as his slight leader over Clemson a few months back, but now he’s wide open.
“With teams like Tennessee, Georgia and GTech coming after me, things are different,” he said. “I’ll take all five visits and decide from there.”
Williamson has two visits set already. He’ll be at Clemson on January 11th and at South Carolina on January 18th. He still wants a school with an excellent track program as well.
