Speedy RB In No Hurry

Running back Andre Callender from West Orange (N.J.) Seton Hall Prep is another top player in the state that has more then a dozen offers. The 5-foot-10, 190-pounder is considered a real game breaker with his 10.6-second 100 meter speed, but for now he has no favorites.
"I plan on narrowing things down after I make a road trip to a few schools for one-day visits. I'm not sure what schools I will be visiting."

Callender has offers from Rutgers, Syracuse, Boston College, Wake Forest, West Virginia, Michigan State, Penn State, Purdue, North Carolina and others. He is in no rush on deciding and plans on taking all five official visits in the fall. Callender will not be camping at any schools this summer.
"I want to make sure I feel comfortable at the school I decide on. It will be a tough decision, that's why I want to take my time."
In nine games as a junior, Callender carried the ball 183 times and rushed for 1,772 yards with 24 touchdowns. Callender had two very big games during his junior campaign. In one he rushed for 312 yards on 10 carries and in another he had 356 yards on 14 carries. He averaged 198 yards-per-game and had a 9.7 yards-per-carry average for the year.
