Speedy back fielding calls

Augusta (Ga.) Glen Hills running back/athlete Ricky Young is hearing from multiple programs across the Southeast.
Young currently has one scholarship offer, from South Carolina State. But the 5-foot-9, 187-pounder fields calls from Division I-A programs Vanderbilt, Middle Tennessee State and Clemson, along with Division I-AA schools Georgia Southern and The Citadel, among others.

Despite the attention, Young does not have a favorite at the moment.
"I'm pretty much wide open," Young said. "I'm not focused on just one school."
But Vanderbilt offensive coordinator Ted Cain and the Commodores solid season has made an impression.
"They had a pretty good year this year," Young said. "They are a pretty good school."
A compact, speedy back who ran the 40-yard dash in 4.49 seconds at the Athens NIKE camp in May, Young has made an unofficial visit to Florida State and expects to make one to Georgia in the near future.
