Specialist racks up second offer

Punter/place-kicker Kyle Peterson (6-4, 190, 4.7) from West Covina (Calif.) South Hills is on his way to his first official visit to UTEP so things are going good for the strong-legged punter. To make things better still, Peterson has picked up his second offer.
It has been confirmed by South Hills recruiting coordinator James Escarcega that his talented punter has picked up another offer from Duke.

"Kyle is doing great," Escarcega said. "He has 31 touchbacks and on kickoffs he is averaging 35 yards per punt."
"The reason why his average is lower than usual is he has done a lot of situational punting for us," Escarcega said. "He has been quite a weapon for us this year. That's one of the reasons that Kyle's recruitment is going so well."
Peterson has seen an upward burst of interest for his services. The new kids on the block are Florida, Louisville, Fresno State and Wyoming are the new schools that are very interested in Peterson.
Those schools join USC, Washington, Washington State, Arizona State and Cal as schools that are evaluating and showing recruiting interest in him.
Peterson and his South Hills teammates were triumphant in their first playoff game with a convincing 49-18 victory over Santa Ana.
