Spartans join mix for Juco DT
North Dakota State College of Science defensive end Bobby Jones has had a busy week when it comes to scholarship offers and the good news continued today.
“Bobby received a scholarship offer today from Michigan State,” NDSCS assistant coach Mike Shafer said. “We received a call from them this morning and they offered him a scholarship.”

While the Spartans’ offer makes the fourth offer, two more schools could be coming forward with offers soon.
“It sounds like Oregon is pretty close to offering,” Shafer said. “A new school that has also jumped in is Arizona. They are just waiting on the film so the can evaluate him.
“Bobby is really excited about these opportunities.”
The South Dakota native is scheduled to graduate from NDSCS in December and will join his college choice in January for the spring semester.
