Spartans closing in on JC commitment

Chula Vista (Calif.) Southwestern Community College defensive lineman Ogendi (O.G.) Nwagbuo made an official visit to Michigan State this weekend and a commitment to the Spartans may not be far off.
"I liked it," Nwagbuo said. "It was cool."

When asked what he specifically liked about Michigan State, Nwagbuo said, "They play in the Big Ten with the best schools. I'd get to be on T.V. And I like the opportunity to play there."
Nwagbuo made an official visit to Louisiana-Lafayette Dec. 3.
"I probably liked Michigan State better," Nwagbuo said. "I'm looking at Nevada, Idaho, and Boise State, but I don't know if I'll visit any of them. I'm leaning to Michigan State."
The 6-foot-4 and 280 pound Nwagbuo made 60 tackles including eight sacks for Southwestern Community College this season.
