Spada makes a decision

Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic offensive center Steve Spada has made his decision. The 6-foot-3, 255-pounder has decided to play Division I football for a military academy, but which one?
"I committed last week to Navy," he said. "It came down to the two schools, Army and Navy. They were pretty much similar in every aspect. I just got a gut feeling to go with Navy.

"I felt better about it and it's a better situation for me. It took me a long time to decide between them. I loved everything about both of the schools. It just came down to a gut feeling."
Spada selected Navy over offers from Army and Temple.
What are his chances for playing in the near future?
"Actually I'll go to Navy prep my first year and then it depends what their needs are. I can play any position along the line."
The two-star prospect added a final thought about his decision.
"I'm extremely happy with it," he said. "I love the coaches, they are great guys and I'm really happy."
