Southern trip impresses Ziegler

Indianapolis (Ind.) Pike offensive lineman Dennis Ziegler says the Florida Gators sit at the top of his list after attending their football camp this past weekend. But Ziegler also says he is interested in a number of Midwest schools.
"I just got back from Florida's camp on Thursday," Ziegler said. "Florida right now

is on the top of my list.
"I like the environment there. The coaches are nice, easy to get along with."
But Zeigler says he also likes a number of Midwest schools.
"I'm interested in Indiana and Purdue," he said. "I've been getting some hits from Ohio State and a couple from Notre Dame. They all talked to my coach. They've been trying to get me to their camps."
And football camps are next up for Ziegler.
"I'm going to a 1-day camp at Purdue June 17," he said. "The next day I go to a 1-day camp at Indiana. As of right now that's it.
"Ohio State's camp is coming up, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to attend."
Ziegler has one scholarship offer on the table.
"Indiana has offered," he said. "Purdue is talking about it. Florida said we'll see how things progress over the summer.
"I'm not committing to anyone anytime soon."
The 6-foot-7 and 310-pound Ziegler has played on both the offensive and defensive lines. He is projected as an offensive tackle at the next level.
