Southern Miss visits Florida OL

There is a lot of pressure on Jacksonville (Fla.) Nease offensive guard Doug Polochak and his teammates to make it through to the state championship. While the 6-foot-4, 238-pound prospect offensive guard has plenty to choose from by way of colleges, in-home visits are coming in and official visits are getting set up while the playoffs play out.
Polochak hosted the Southern Miss coaches Jeff Bower and Ron McCrone Tuesday evening along with teammate Ryan Ellis who are both being recruited by the school. Both enjoyed the visit and now Polochak got busy with his visit there.

"I have an official visit planned with them on Dec. 16," Polochak said about Southern Miss. "They talked to us a lot about some questions we had. I want to go into the medical field and they told me how their program is there."
"School and academics was a lot of the talk along with the type of schemes and plays they run."
Currently the top three for the two-star offensive guard sits at Southern Miss, ECU, and West Virginia.
"West Virginia is very interested and seems like they'll be offering me," he said. "I'm not certain on a decision time right now. The big factor will be these visits. That will help me clear up my mind and see what's there considering I'm going to live there for four years."
"Of course education is important as well and I'm focusing on all of that."
