Southall set to see Oklahoma

Duncanville (Texas) defensive tackle Marcel Southall is one of the most sought after defensive tackles in the state of Texas. The 6-foot-3 and 270-pound Southall mentioned that his team's season is overall. He wasn't sure what his final stats were, but did say that he wished his season went a little better personally.
"Our season is over," Southall said. "We went 3-7. I guess that the season went alright. I don't know how many sacks or total tackles I had. My season did not go as I had planned. I played all over the defensive line. They moved me around a lot."

Now that Southall's football season is over he has started to set up official visits. His first will be next weekend going to visit a school just a few hours to the north. Beyond that official visit Southall says that he's unsure of any other schools he will visit.
"I am going to visit Oklahoma in November," Southall said. "I will be there on the 21st when Oklahoma plays TCU. I don't have any other visits set up right now. I am not sure what other schools I will be visiting."
Southall did mention that a Big Ten team is trying to get the talented defensive lineman to take a trip to see what they had to offer. Their recruiting coach who is also their position coach has been recruiting Southall, but he says that he's just not sure if he will visit.
"I am talking to Nebraska," Southall said. "Their defensive line coach, Hank Hughes, just talked to me over Twitter. I am not sure if I will visit Nebraska yet or not."
