South Jersey LB hoping to take visits

After his impressive showing at the Rivals/VTO Camp in New Jersey late last month, Brandon Bell of Mays Landing (N.J.) Oakcrest proved himself as one of the top linebackers in the region. With more than ten offers, Bell is hoping to hit the road during the spring and summer.
"Recruiting is picking up," said Bell. "In the last two weeks, schools have been starting to come in. Stanford, Northwestern, Maryland, Georgetown, BC, Wisconsin and East Carolina have come in."

Bell currently has 11 offers, and while a number of schools are showing serious interest, one school is pushing the hardest.
"I'd say Rutgers," said Bell, who is 6-foot-1 and 224-pounds.
Bell has not taken any recent visits, but would like to visit a few schools.
"None planned yet, but I would really like to," said Bell. "I'd like to visit the further ones, like West Virginia, Purdue and Central Florida."
Bell hopes to make a final decision before his senior season begins. He has a list of factors that will help him in his decision process.
"I'm looking for overall comfort, a place where I will get a respectful degree and a winning environment," said Bell, who has spent time this off-season working on improving his quickness, change of direction ability and speed.
