South Grand Priarie CB with three offers

Grand Prairie (Texas) South Grand Prairie is a program loaded with talent in the 2009 class. Among that talent are several high caliber athletes at wide receiver. However, as Spring Practice has progressed, those wideouts have battled with another highly recruited prospect, cornerback Thomas Ferguson.
"Practice has been going good," Ferguson said. "All of us are working hard. The competition is good. It's been getting a little physical.

"We make each other better every day. We don't cut each other slack. We're friends during the day but when we get them pads on, we don't mess around."
Ferguson currently has three offers to his credit.
"I got a couple offers from Arizona, Central Florida and Kansas," he said. "I like everything they told me. I like all three schools. I'm a fan of Kansas. I like Kansas but I've been watching all the schools, I'm a college football person so I watch a lot of teams."
Ferguson also has been receiving heavy interest from Colorado and Nebraska through mail and emails and he hopes to get to those campuses along with several others this summer.
"I'm trying to visit as many schools as possible," he said. "I know I'm trying to visit Nebraska, Kansas, Florida and Arizona. Every school that offers me, I'm going to try to visit and I'm going to try to visit a few more."
As far as deciding factors for a program, Ferguson has already targeted three.
"I've got three early," he said. "Location, their depth chart, will I be able to play or not? And how their campus outside of football is. Will I be able to fit in and feel comfortable?"
As a piece of a very talented puzzle at South Grand Prairie, Ferguson has some high expectations for the upcoming season.
"We have a lot of expectations. We're trying to go to 16-0 all the way. We feel like we have the players to do it."
