South Florida safety commits to Syracuse

Keondrick Lyn made his decision earlier today. Lynn, a defensive back from Miramar, Fla., committed to Syracuse.
"I am going orange," Lyn said. "I committed to Syracuse today. I had an in-home visit with them last night. I called coach (Scott) Shafer then coach (Doug) Marrone. I visited there last weekend and just love it. I can get on the field right away and play.

"Syracuse has so much tradition. The halls are filled with Ernie Davis and Jim Brown. The coaches there are great and make you feel so comfortable."
Lyn, 6-2 and 200 pounds, plays safety. This past season he recorded 120 tackles, five interceptions and three forced fumbles.
"I think I am pretty versatile because I can cover. I am a real big hitter and I don't lack any confidence. My favorite player was Sean Taylor and I pattern my game after him."
Miramar finished 14-1 and won the state championship.
