"I didn't get any more offers, but most of the schools said they were going to have a meeting and talk with their head coaches about their quarterback situation," Martinsen said. "Most of them said they would contact me in a couple weeks here on what they decided. I think I made a good impression with most of them. I threw pretty well at the camps. My arm was dead after a while after I went to so many camps. I really ended up liking Minnesota, Michigan State, Michigan, and Ohio State. Those are my favorites for sure."
Martinsen was previously offered by Minnesota back in May. His trip began over two weeks in Orlando. Pete Martinsen attended the UCF one-day camp and then boarded a plane for Indianapolis. He then stopped by Purdue, Notre Dame, Illinois, Minnesota, Michigan State, Michigan, and Ohio State before returning home to South Florida. Pete also just camped at the University of Miami.
"I went to the Miami camp too the other day," Martinsen said. "It was good. I met Larry Coker. I met pretty much all the head coaches at the schools. They were all pretty nice to me and treated me well."
