South Florida QB emerges

Lake Worth (Fla.) quarterback prospect Star Jackson currently holds three scholarship offers and is getting new attention seemingly every day from a number of programs throughout the Southeast.
"Georgia, Florida International and Central Florida have offered so far," Jackson said.
Jackson, who had approximately 1,900 yards of total offense his junior season, has made an unofficial visit to Orlando to check out the Golden Knights.
"UCF was pretty nice," he said. "I liked it over there, it was pretty nice."
The Bulldogs are another program that has his attention. He plans to take an unofficial visit to UGA before the spring is up.
"I haven't gone to a Junior Day or anything like that (at UGA), but just looking at it, it's a good school."
Last weekend, the 6-foot-3, 185-pounder attended Auburn's Junior Day.
"It was great," he said. I just loved the surroundings. The atmosphere is real good."
West Virginia and LSU also have been sending text messages to Jackson and he plans to head to Rutgers unofficially this spring as well.
One aspect of the program he picks is paramount to his decision.
"I think just the relationship you can build with the coaches (is the most important thing)," he said. "Like at UCF, they were talking and said that every coach is like he's at a used car dealership. So for me, the choice is going to be about everyone that's surrounding the program. It's not just football, it's education, it's everything."
Jackson, an All-Palm Beach County selection is enjoying the recruiting process.
"It's a good process," he said. "I just like being able to look up all the schools and get information on them."
