South Florida Officiating Camp: Top underclassmen

Recruiting wrap: Alexandre does not have any offers yet.
Performance: Alexandre used his hands well and did a good job of driving his feet on contact. He has a great frame and should be able to pack on tons of muscle. As long as Alexandre keeps his quickness and develops his technique, he should become a major recruit.
RB
Cameron Davis (2018)
Miami Gardens (Fla.) Carol City
Recruiting wrap: Davis is waiting for his first scholarship offer
Performance: Davis is a rare combination of size and speed and he showed some versatility in Carol City's games. He was a threat out of the backfield with a quick burst and nice vision, and he was a threat as a receiver. He gave the Carol City offense some options while he was in the game and he proved to be a tough matchup.
ILB
Tyler Dunning (2017)
Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Dillard
Recruiting wrap: A Miami commit, Dunning plans to look around in the nearly two years until he signs a Letter of Intent. Alabama has recently entered his recruitment.
Performance: Dunning has fantastic size, long arms and broad shoulders. What has Miami excited, however, is how well he moves that frame. Dunning glides laterally and is capable of covering all over the field. He's not fully developed just yet and will likely get stronger and better at stuffing the run as time passes.
ILB
Rosendo Louis (2018)
Deerfield Beach, Fla.
Recruiting wrap: Louis is waiting for his first offer.
Performance: Louis was very impressive on Saturday. He's already very developed physically and has a good nose for the ball. Louis was able to fight off blockers and showed the necessary agility to track down the ball carrier. If he keeps growing he could end up as a defensive end but, either way, he's definitely one to keep an eye on.
OLB
Robert McWilliams (2017)
Miami (Fla.) Killian
Recruiting wrap: McWilliams has not received his first offer but Temple and South Carolina are showing interest.
Performance: McWilliams is an intriguing prospect. He is a skinny guy with a long wingspan and a big frame. He spent his time at outside linebacker but is a guy who could easily grow into a defensive end. He stands in at 6-foot-3 and 185-pounds. He was very active and as he develops his size and strength he is a guy to watch.
DB
Zahir Polk (2017)
Miami (Fla.) Southridge
Recruiting wrap: Polk is awaiting his first scholarship offer.
Performance: Polk plays both safety and cornerback but will likely play corner in college. He's solid instinctually and had a fanatic interception in the end zone that forced him to stop, change direction and catch a ball that was tipped behind him. Polk can cover a number different targets and has enough speed to keep him from being beaten deep.
ILB
Kenny Spiller (2017)
Miami (Fla.) Palmetto
Recruiting wrap: Miami, Maryland, and Louisville are showing the most interest in Spiller.
Performance: Spiller has the look of an inside linebacker. He is 6-foot-1 and 230-pounds and he is quick to make his way through traffic. He has a nose for the football and he also has some nice range in pass coverage. He got deep in his drops in coverage and he showed some good lateral quickness in two games for Palmetto.
WDE
Guy Thomas (2017)
Miami (Fla.) Columbus
Recruiting wrap: Thomas has early offers from a few programs, the most notable of which is Miami.
Performance: Thomas has great length for a prospect of his age and he wraps up well for a prospect of limited thickness. Thomas gets around the edge quickly, though, and has all the raw tools to become a menacing pass rusher. Thomas rarely takes a play off and seems to give max effort on every rep. He made a handful of plays in the backfield on Friday.
WR
Ivan Thomas (2018)
Miami (Fla.) Palmetto
Recruiting wrap: Thomas is just beginning the recruiting process.
Performance: Thomas started slow, but he picked up steam as the games went along. He dropped his first couple of passes but he proved to be a reliable target. He has some big, soft hands and he has a nice build at 6-foot-2 and 185-pounds. He ran some nice routes and has the coaching staff at Palmetto excited about the future.
CB
Vernon Williams (2018)
Miami (Fla.) Palmetto
Recruiting wrap: Williams is just beginning the recruiting process.
Performance: Williams is a tall cornerback standing in right at about 6-foot. He is also light in the seat at 155 pounds. He showed some quick footwork and he was able to get his hands on a few passes. The biggest play may have been his interception against Mourning High. He made a quick adjustment and turned to make a leaping grab
