South Florida LB has solid spring

Hollywood (Fla.) South Broward Patrick Joseph is waiting on his first scholarship offer, but it could be right around the corner. The middle linebacker prospect recently completed spring practice and had an outstanding performance in his spring game.
"This spring just finished for us," he said. "We lost our spring game, but for me it's like I won. I had 15 tackles during the game against Fort Lauderdale High and several scouts where there."

An in-state Division I-AA program currently is showing the most interest.
"A scout from Florida A&M came through," Joseph said. "I talked with a coach from there on Saturday. They said I was high on their board and that they were highly interested in me."
Another Tallahassee program has been showing the 5-foot-11, 233-pounder some attention.
"Florida State has been showing me some attention," Joseph said. "There were a couple of scouts from there that same from the school and said they liked me."
One Southeastern Conference program continues to show interest.
"Alabama is still showing interest," Joseph said. "They want me to attend their camp. I might attend their camp some time during the summer."
Joseph also hopes to attend other camps this summer.
"I've got the Florida and the Miami camp that I am going to attend, too," he said. "I may go to the D-I Camp, which is a full pads camp so I can get some contact in."
Joseph had 85 tackles and five sacks during his junior season.
