Hollywood Chaminade-Madonna’s Glenn Cook is a name that recruiting fans will be hearing a lot about. The 6-foot-1 and 218 pound inside linebacker was selected to the all-county team as a junior by racking up 85 tackles, five sacks, and 10 tackles for a loss. He already has an impressive 20 scholarship offers.
“I have 20 scholarship offers,” Cook said. “Some of the teams that have offered me are Tennessee, Michigan State, North Carolina State, Louisiana State, Miami and Virginia Tech. The Virginia Tech, Louisiana State, and Tennessee offers are in writing.”
Cook told FlaRecruiting.com that his top four schools are Miami, Tennessee, Louisiana State, and North Carolina State.
“I just made an unofficial visit to Miami so they lead now, but I’ll be making a visit to Tennessee sometime either in September or November,” Cook said. “Miami’s Coach Shannon talked to my father on the phone. He told my father that Miami was offering me. Coach Shannon wants me for inside linebacker, and he also told my father that I have a chance to be a great player for the Hurricanes.”
Cook is a great player that has that extra confidence that college coaches are looking for.
“I read defenses read well,” Cook said. “I’m probably the best in the country at it. I have real good instincts.”
