MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Nigel Bethel is at a crossroads of sorts. That doesn’t mean he’s ready to name a leader. What he does have, however, is a final group of three.

But that doesn’t mean he’s saying anything that allows people to infer a frontrunner.

“Georgia, Miami and Florida are the only ones I’m really looking at,” Bethel said. “I don’t really have leader of them, but it’s just them.”

Bethel says he will make a decision following his official visits this fall. And while recruiting is fluid by its nature, Bethel says his final three are set in stone. His words are not those of a man planning to waiver.

“I’m only going to visit those three schools, so I’m going to pick from them for sure,” Bethel said. “I just want to see where I fit in and how they look as a program.”

IN HIS WORDS

-- "UM? I think UM is home. I like them. I can’t wait to visit there, too.”

-- “Georgia, you know, it’s Georgia. I can’t wait to see it and get up there and see what they have.”

-- “With, Florida, I’ve only been there one time for a track thing. I haven’t made it for a real football visit.”

-- “I’ll decide in the middle of the season.”

RIVALS REACTION: Bethel has waited until late in the game to make a decision and there’s a chance that may cost him option. How he preforms as a senior will likely dictate his place on the recruiting boards of his three finalist. UGA and Miami are the two most likely landing spots for Bethel but his recruitment could be in for some late twists and turns.
