South Florida DE set to transfer

Bryant Dubose is one of the top defensive line prospects from the Sunshine State in the Class of 2011. DuBose, 6-4 and 245 pounds, is searching for a new home. He was a rising senior at Oakland Park Northeast High School. If things go as planned he will be the newest member of Deerfield Beach, maybe even as early as tomorrow.
"I am in the middle of transferring," Dubose said. "I am going to Deerfield. I just needed a change, a new start. I am trying to prepare myself for college and just need to do things differently. It's looking good and I may start at Deerfield Beach tomorrow. Tomorrow is the big day. My mom just has to do some things for it to happen."

Dubose is one of the state's top prospects at defensive end. Last season he recorded 65 tackles, 13 sacks and two interceptions for two touchdowns.
"I have quickness off the edge and a good combination of speed and strength. At this stage I would say I am more of a pass rusher but I do both well (run stopper). I need to work on technique. That could be better."
According to Dubose he has scholarship offers from Miami, Florida International, Texas Tech, Rutgers and West Virginia.
"I don't know all of them but those are the ones I remember off the top of my head. Right now I am open."
