South Florida back likes three

Donnell Kirkwood is one of the top running back prospects from south Florida. Kirkwood, 5-10 and 195 pounds, is from Delray Beach (Fla.) Atlantic High School. Last season as a junior he powered his way to 1,013 yards rushing and 14 scores.
"I think I am a power runner," Kirkwood said. "I can make a move when needed but I would rather lower my shoulder.

"I have been working hard on my speed and acceleration and I am seeing the results of the hard work. I am definitely quicker."
According to Kirkwood he has scholarship offers from Minnesota, Rutgers, Kansas State and Pitt.
"Minnesota was the first offer for me. I thought it was good and very happy because it was my first one. I don't know much about them but I will visit them probably this summer. I would also like to see Pitt, Rutgers, Kansas State, and Ole Miss. I don't have a favorite but the schools I am most interested in are Minnesota, Pitt, and Rutgers."
So what is Kirkwood looking for in the college of his choice?
"I am looking for early playing time. I really don't want to be red-shirted. Tradition, coaching staff and facilities will be important to me as well."
