Frank Crawford is a safety prospect from South Florida. Crawford, 6-1 and 170 pounds, is from Miami (Fla.) Gulliver Prep. Last season as a junior he recorded 40 tackles and six interceptions.
"As a safety I am a good cover guy," Crawford said. "I can come up with the big interception. They say I have good range. I try and play the position like I would be playing centerfield. I am also tough in run support. I am a big hitter. I just need to make sure I get to the ball on every play."
According to Crawford he has scholarship offers from seven schools, South Carolina, Alabama, Ole Miss, Minnesota, Duke, Syracuse, and Michigan State.

"I know South Florida is close to offering. Right now I can't say who leads. I just know I am open and looking at everyone. I know this summer I will be going to a camp or two. I also know that I will be going to see Alabama, Ole Miss and South Carolina. I will probably see South Florida too.
"It will all come down to playing time, atmosphere and academics."
