South Carolina WR gets new offer

Three-star Boiling Springs (S.C.) wide receiver Brooks Foster has picked up a new scholarship offer and scheduled one of his official visits for this fall.
“I got a new offer from North Carolina last week,” he said. “I’ve got offers from Kentucky, South Carolina, Clemson, Wake Forest and North Carolina now. Those are my top five.”

Anyone have the lead?
“I like all five of those about equal right now,” he said. “None of them really stand out above the others. I want to go on some visits before I say who’s in the lead.”
One of those visits has been set. Foster (6-3, 180, 4.5) will make an official visit to Kentucky on Sept. 26-27 for the Florida game.
“I set that one up with coach Phillips the last time he called me,” Foster said. “They’ve been recruiting me for a long time and have a lot of the things I’m looking for.”
Such as?
“An offense where the wide receivers are used a lot and a chance to play basketball,” he said. “All of them have said it’s possible if the basketball coach is OK with it. Kentucky and South Carolina have already told me their coaches said it was OK to play both.”
Foster, who has received calls from all five of his favorites in the last week, has also made one unofficial visit so far. He was in the stands at Clemson when the Tigers played host to Georgia.
As a junior, Foster caught 35 passes for 500 yards and eight touchdowns. Through three games as a senior, he’s had 13 receptions for 160 yards and two touchdowns.
Academically, he maintains a 3.7 GPA. He plans to take his ACT in October.
