South Carolina LB sets four visits

Monck's Corner (S.C.) linebacker
Brown has scheduled four of his official visits.
A member of the
Top 100 team and the No. 24 inside linebacker in the nation,
Brown will visit Clemson on Jan. 10, South Carolina on Jan. 17, Florida on
Jan. 24 and Ohio State on Feb. 1.
The Buckeyes have made a recent push to make a
strong impression on Brown (6-2, 235, 4.5).
"South Carolina has been recruiting me the hardest
the whole time, but lately Ohio State has been up there, " he said. "I
didn't really know much about them before the season, but I've got real
close to the coach recruiting me (Jim Bollman), and I've been watching them
on TV a whole lot. They've had a great season, and I like the way they play.
I think I could fit into their defense pretty nice."
Ohio State joins South Carolina and Florida at the
top of his list, but Brown says he'll try to keep an open mind until he
completes his visits. "Everybody's got an equal chance right now," he said.
He's unsure if he'll take a fifth visit. "It would have to be pretty soon if I did," he said. "I've filled up most of the later dates."
Brown wrapped up his senior season at Berkeley HS with more than
100 tackles and three interceptions.
