South Carolina DT focused on four

Union (S.C.) defensive lineman Rashaad Jackson is hoping he can parlay a big start to his senior season into more scholarship offers.
Jackson (6-2, 273, 4.9) has tallied 44 tackles and four sacks in helping lead his team to a 3-1 record thus far.

“I’ve been doing real good so far,” he said. “I’ve been getting a lot of tackles in every game, but I had all of my sacks in last week’s game. I had 19 tackles and four sacks. It was the best game I’ve ever had.”
Jackson has received calls from each of his top four schools this month – Clemson, North Carolina, N.C. State and Tennessee. The home state Tigers are the lone scholarship offer to date.
“I like Clemson, but I don’t really have a favorite,” he said. “I’m looking at all four of those schools pretty close. I went to Clemson’s game against Middle Tennessee State and North Carolina’s game against Florida State. I’ll probably go take some more visits before I say who’s No. 1.
“I liked the atmosphere and the fans at Clemson. It was pretty much the same thing for North Carolina. I like their stadium and the campus. It’s very nice. I liked the environment and the people around there.”
Jackson plans to visit Tennessee for the Vols’ game against South Carolina this weekend. He also has plans to see Clemson-South Carolina and North Carolina-Clemson later this season.
Academically, he maintains a 2.5 GPA and is taking his ACT in October.
