South Carolina commit Lamarius Benson details his decision

COVINGTON, Ga. — Lamarius Benson picked up an offer from South Carolina when he was there for Junior Day late in February. A few weeks later the 6-foot-3, 320 pound two-way lineman out of Covington (Ga.) Eastside committed to the Gamecocks.

RIVALS TAKE: Benson is a versatile lineman who has only played one year on the offense line, but that is likely his home. He moves well for his size, he has good agility and he is going to be an interior offensive linemen on the next level. He has good lower-body strength and he moves his feet well, but he needs to continue to get better with his punch and staying on his blocks.
