Sound Mind Sound Body has been bringing together college coaches and high school athletes in a growing number over the last 10 years. The 2014 version of the event, which runs June 12-13, appears to be the biggest yet from both a participant and coaching standpoint.
Coaches from 44 college programs ranging from NAIA to the FBS's Big Five conferences will be working the camp. That includes Big Ten head coaches Tim Beckman (Illinois), Mark Dantonio (Michigan State), James Franklin (Penn State), Brady Hoke (Michigan), Jerry Kill (Minnesota) and Kevin Wilson (Indiana).
The 500-plus players working out with and for those coaches include prospects from states as far away as California, Texas and Florida. Close to 100 of those players already hold Division I offers, most from Big Five conference programs. Here is a break down of the top prospects expected to attend by position.
