Sophomore Rolle has 21 offers

Princeton (N.J.) The Hun School athlete Myron Rolle is arguably one of the top rising junior prospects in the country. Rolle, a 6-foot-2, 204-pound athlete, has up over 21 offers at this early juncture with more offers sure to come over the course of the next two seasons.
“Duke, Florida, Iowa, Maryland, Miami, Oklahoma, Penn State, Rutgers, Stanford, Virginia, and Virginia Tech are a few of the schools I have offers from so far,” explained Rolle. “I’ve just started to hear a lot from schools like Southern Cal, LSU, and Florida State. Hopefully, they will all offer me down the road as well.”

Rolle has starred on both sides of the football the last two seasons for The Peddie School as both a running back and a defensive back. Last season, Rolle eclipsed the 1,000-yard rushing mark on the ground while posting 103 tackles and 15 pass break-ups. This year he'll play at The Hun School and will continue his dual role.
“I enjoy playing running back, but my future at the college level will be on defense I believe,” said Rolle. “My versatility in the secondary really carries me. I can come up in run support, but I’ve also got the speed to be a solid cover guy.”
Rolle is a tremendous student off the field carrying a 4.0 GPA at this point.
“I’m looking for a school that is academically challenging,” said Rolle. “I can’t wait for school to start up again. I’m probably one of the few kids out there that is bored over the summer and would rather be in class.”
Rolle is optimistic on how well his team can perform. Playing in a prep school league, there are no playoffs for he and his teammates to play in when the season is over, so winning every game is of utmost importance.
“We’ve got an experienced quarterback in Dom Natale coming back,” Rolle explained. “He’s committed to Michigan State and I think he can lead us to an undefeated season. It’s not out of the realm of possibility. Personally, I’d like to get around 90 tackles this year, but I really want to focus on making some interceptions. I didn’t have one last year, although I got five as a freshman. I’d like to get seven or eight if possible.”
The Hun School starts practice August 25th and will play their first game September 18th.
Rolle earned first team all-state honors as a sophomore and second team all-state honors as a freshman.
