Sophomore already making visits

Defensive back Donnie Evege moved into the varsity starting lineup half way through his freshman year at Xenia, playing cornerback. He played mostly cornerback this season too and intercepted one pass.
However the 5-foot-11, 185 pound Evege transfered to Huber Heights Wayne in January and will likely see playing time at cornerback, running back, and wide receiver over the next two seasons.

Recruiters are well aware of the potential this fine sophomore has.
"They really can't talk to me because I'm so young," Evege said. "But I get letters from Ohio State, Penn State, Indiana, and Minnesota.
"Being from Ohio, obviously Ohio State is one of the schools I'm interested in.
"I like Notre Dame. I'm thinking about the South, like Georgia. And Cincinnati too.
"But I'm young. The only campuses I've been to are Ohio State, Notre Dame, and Cincinnati."
