Soph TE to go camping this summer

One of the top tight ends in the Mid-Atlantic is sophomore Mark Birmingham. Almost ten FBS programs have offered the Ashburn (Va.) Briar Woods stand out and more are likely on the way.
Wisconsin recently threw their hat into the ring.
"I know they like to use their tight ends and they run a pro-style offense," said the 6-foot-3, 233-pound Birmingham. "It's a great school in the Big Ten. I spoke briefly with coach Beatty on the phone. He came down to one of my spring practices."

Birmingham had a busy spring but is getting ready to take a few more visits.
"After doing a few camps I took a little break from traveling," he said. "I'm going to a Duke camp in a couple weeks then I'll be going out to Stanford for their camp."
Some major programs are showing significant interest in Birmingham.
"I talk with Florida State, Miami, Penn State and Connecticut," said Birmingham. "I also get some things from Ohio State and Duke."
Birmingham holds offers from North Carolina, Virginia, Virginia Tech and others.
