Soph linebacker planning visits

Warminster (Pa.) Archbishop Wood has produced several BCS level recruits in recent years, and has a few more in line that should get noticed. One of these is 2015 linebacker Jake Cooper, who has two visits and a camp at a top SEC school planned.
"I am hearing a lot from Penn State and Rutgers, as I met with Coach O'Brien and Coach Flood a couple weeks ago at school," said Cooper, who is 6-foot-2 and 230 pounds. "I am also receiving a lot of interest from Stanford, Boston College, Michigan, Wisconsin, Florida, Florida State and Temple. I also met Temple's new coach at school."

Up next for Cooper is a trio of visits.
"I will be making visits to Penn State and Rutgers in the coming weeks and I'll be attending Friday Night Lights at The Swamp in July," said Cooper.
The sophomore linebacker is excited about his upcoming visits to Happy Valley and Piscataway.
"I am anxious to meet the rest of the staff for both teams and it will allow me to get a chance to interact and get a feel for both colleges," said Cooper. "Being on campus will allow me to experience some of what college life is all about and I am looking forward to meeting the players on the team. I am going to some of the Rutgers spring practices with Mr. Peoples, Desmon Peoples dad, and my father, and will be on the field with the team. This will allow me to see the coach's relationship with the players, which is important to me."
Besides the trip to Florida, Cooper will look to attend a few more camps this summer.
"I would like to participate in both the Rutgers and Penn State camps," he said. "I am also flying out to California to train with Patrick Willis in early June. I just want to keep bustin' my butt to be the best player I can possibly become."
Cooper will also participate in the Rivals Camp Series presented by Under Armour on April 27th in Piscataway, New Jersey.
