Sooners offer Fla. LB

It keeps getting better and better for Christian Jones. Jones, from Winter Park (Fla.) Lake Howell High School, had previously received scholarship offers from every college football program from the state of Florida. Then yesterday he learned he had an offer from Michigan. Today, he got another huge out of state scholarship offer from one of the nation's top programs.

"Oklahoma offered me today," Jones said. "I can't even describe just how excited I was when I picked up this one. It's just that excitin to know that one of the top programs in the nation wants you and Oklahoma is a team that my pops loves besides Florida State. I know he will be just as excited when I tell him later."

Jones, 6-4 and 220 pounds, recorded 163 tackles
