Sooners newest offer for Georgia RB/DB

One of the Peach State’s top prospects has picked up a new scholarship offer and identified a leader.
Warner Robins (Ga.) Houston County running back/defensive back Cedric Hodges says he’s added an offer from Oklahoma.

“They’re definitely on my list now,” he said. “I like them a lot. I’ll probably take one of my official visits there now.
“But Florida State is my leader. Them and Georgia. I have an offer from Florida State, but not Georgia yet, so Florida State is a little bit ahead right now. I went to camp down there and enjoyed it. It was straight. I liked all the coaches and the facilities were nice. They’re building some new additions, so it should be getting a lot better.”
Hodges (6-1, 181, 4.45) rushed for 1,399 yards and 19 touchdowns as a junior, but is being recruited as both a running back and defensive back.
“I don’t care which one,” he said. “I just want to play. I’ll play any position if it gets me on the field.”
Hodges also has offers from Alabama, Auburn, Ole Miss, Georgia Tech and Middle Tennessee. Florida, Ohio State and Georgia are expressing interest.
Academically, he maintains a 2.3 GPA and is awaiting his test scores.
