Sooners interested in S.C. safety

According to his high school coach, Chester (S.C.) defensive back Marquis Coleman has an official visit set up for this coming weekend and has been getting new interest from a major BCS Conference program.
"UAB and Marshall came to school today to check up on Marquis," Chester head coach Victor Floyd said. "They've both offered and Marquis will take a visit to UAB this weekend."

Floyd added that one major Big 12 program has been showing interest in Coleman.
"Well, Marquis seems to be getting a lot of interest from Oklahoma," he said. "They will be here at school Friday morning, probably to try and set up a visit for that last weekend. No offer yet, but I'm almost certain they want him to visit on the second and from what I understand he has a great chance to pick up a big offer from them.
Would an offer from the Sooners give them a good chance to sign the two-star prospect?
"Oh, yeah, that would definitely put them in the driver's seat," Floyd said.
Kentucky was high on Coleman's list, but has since been eliminated.
Coleman is a high (5.4) two-star rated prospect by Rivals.com.
