Sooners, Bears are first for Dorsey

It didn't take long for the first scholarship offers to come rolling in for Tyler (Texas) John Tyler 2008 defensive tackle Adren Dorsey.
The 6-foot-4, 280-pound junior has already received two Big 12 offers and many more are sure to follow. While he has played numerous position as a high school player, he looks to make his name known as a defensive tackle at the next level.

"I've had a few offers," Dorsey said. "So far, Oklahoma and Baylor have offered. I was a little surprised because I didn't think either of those two schools was interested. I'm interested in Oklahoma. They have a pretty decent program. I could see myself being a Sooner."
Dorsey says he was trying to get to Texas A&M this weekend, but will be unable to make it because of a conflict. He hasn't decided which other junior days he'll get to.
"I haven't opened up all the letters about the junior days yet, so I'm sure there are some out there that I've been invited to," Dorsey said. "I just haven't decided which ones I'll go to."
Aside from scholarship offers, several coaches have been by the school. Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops, Oklahoma State's Mike Gundy, and Texas A&M's Dennis Franchione have all been by recently.
Dorsey says he couldn't say much other than hello, but liked seeing the coaches stop by.
"Yeah, it's tough because you can't really say much," Dorsey said. "I just said hello and that was about it."
There aren't any favorites yet for Dorsey. He says he's keeping his options open for the time being.
